Design

Text should be legible from approximately 1.1-5 meters viewing distance.

Use large, clear fonts and minimally dense paragraphs

  • Title ≥ 72 pt
  • Section headings ≥ 40pt
  • Body Text ≥ 24-28pt
  • Ensure graphs are clearly labelled and readable

QR codes linking to full papers or supplementary material are permitted

Presentation

  • The presenting author must be registered for the conference.
  • Posters must be printed and brought by the presenter.
  • Materials for mounting (e.g., pins/Velcro) will be provided on site.
  • Authors are responsible for installing and removing their poster within the designated times.
  • Authors are expected to be present at their poster during the designated poster viewing session.

All conflicts of interest must be declared clearly and transparently at the start of the presentation.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Speakers are required to disclose any conflicts of interest at the beginning of their presentation. The disclosure slide must be displayed for sufficient time to allow the audience to read the information clearly.

Financial Relationships

Speakers should disclose any financial relationships within the 36 months prior to the event with:

  • Manufacturers of commercial products used in patient care
  • Providers of commercial healthcare services

Examples of Disclosable Interests

  • Speaker fees
  • Research grants
  • Fees for educational activities (e.g. training healthcare professionals)
  • Consultancy fees

Ownership and Affiliations

  • Ownership of shares or stocks in relevant healthcare companies
  • Roles in healthcare organisations, boards, or guideline committees

Presenters should attend their session at least 15 minutes prior to the start time to meet the session chair.

If Using Embedded Videos

  • Submit videos in standard .mp4 format
  • Test functionality during speaker preview
  • Audio within slides must be clearly audible at standard volume levels

Accessibility Considerations

  • Avoid red/green-only contrasts
  • Use large, clear graphics
  • Provide verbal descriptions of complex visuals
