Mr Stuart Blagg

Mr Stuart Blagg is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he has practiced since 2004.
Fellowship trained in the full spectrum of spinal surgery, his expertise spans spinal trauma, degenerative conditions, tumours, paediatric spinal disorders including scoliosis, and complex deformity across the entire spine. He has particular experience in sports-related spinal injuries, nerve compression and spinal cord pathology.
Mr Blagg has played a leading role in shaping spinal services nationally. He is a Past President of the British Association of Spine Surgeons and has contributed to NHS England’s complex spine clinical reference group. He has also been instrumental in developing regional trauma and spine networks.
In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in education, training, and standards setting within spinal surgery, and contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for The Bone & Joint Journal.
