Dr Jenny Lisshammar is a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, working across neurology and rehabilitation services, and lead psychologist for the autoimmune neurological disorders team. Her clinical work focuses on complex neurological conditions, including spinal cord injury, immune-mediated neurological disorders, normal pressure hydrocephalus, and sleep disorders. She has a particular interest in integrating neuropsychology within multidisciplinary care pathways and psychologically informed rehabilitation, drawing on her additional training in clinical neuropsychiatry.
She is also a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Gothenburg within the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology. Her research focuses on spinal cord injury, with an emphasis on healthcare utilisation, secondary prevention, and co-production in healthcare systems.
Dr Lisshammar has presented her work widely at national and international conferences. Alongside her clinical and academic roles, she has acted as a consultant to third-sector and digital health initiatives, and has established a national supervision initiative supporting psychologists working in specialised neurological rehabilitation. She completed her training at the University of Oxford and at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London.
